At Mjol Bakehouse, a venture where the aroma of fresh pastries mingles with the warmth of Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian aesthetic.
The cafe revolves around the central axis of the counter, a focal point for interaction and engagement. We poured our expertise into crafting a space that orbits around materiality. The result was a monolithic counter, meticulously shaped from rammed earth, layered with the hues of the soil.
Crafted from wood and finished with natural hues & traditional Japanese wood burning technique, the furniture completes the scene.
Every detail, from textures and finishes to meticulously curated furniture and ambient lighting, reflects a thoughtful blend of modern aesthetics and timelessness.
