Residence VS offers an uncluttered approach towards a family home. An experiment in lightness, it is a composition of natural light, volumes, textures and materiality. The maximisation of natural light gives a floating lightness to the space, added with the materiality of burnt wood, natural solid wood, washed out paint, linen curtains and natural fibres all of which add an earthy feel. Each element and their absence thereof adds to the minimalism of the composition, reflected in the detailings.
